Dementia Doula
A Personalized, Hands-On Approach
My work begins directly with the individual living with dementia. Through this one-on-one process, I develop a clear picture of what brings comfort, engagement, and stability—then translate that into structured, supportive daily life.
• Customized Weekly Rhythms – Thoughtfully designed routines that balance rest, engagement, and meaningful activity
• Enriching Experiences – Coordination of social outings, memory-focused activities, and community-based programs
• Guided Care Transitions – Support in preparing for and implementing increased care needs, including transitions to 24-hour care
Care Team Development & Support
In addition to direct support, I provide consulting services to help families and organizations build and sustain high-quality dementia care:
• Private Care Coordination – Assistance sourcing and vetting caregiving options.
• Care System Design – Hands-on guidance in creating home care structures that reflect best practices in dementia support
• Professional Training & Education – As a PAC trainer, I offer education for adult foster homes, home health agencies, and care teams seeking to elevate their level of service
Why a Dementia Doula Matters
Consistent, relationship-based care is essential in dementia support. A dementia doula is a trained professional who provides guidance, education, emotional support, and physical comfort throughout the care journey. Having a dedicated guide ensures that care is not only well-coordinated, but deeply personalized—preserving identity, reducing stress, and creating a sense of stability for both the individual and their family.
I work closely with families and care staff to provide the tools, insight, and ongoing support needed to navigate challenges as the disease progresses and care needs evolve. Together, we build confidence, strengthen communication, and create care approaches that truly support the person behind the diagnosis.
My goal is to bring peace, joy, and comfort to those living with dementia, while empowering everyone involved in their care.
All services are non-medical and designed to support the whole person while uplifting and guiding those who care for them.
